Self-Medicating with Sin

I’m remembering back to a Bible study I did in Santa Cruz, and the group was discussing our motivations for sin. What we found/discovered is that we often sin as a way of taking or getting what we want when life (or circumstances, or God) doesn’t give it to us directly, or in the timeframe of our desires.


Why do we think we can self-medicate life’s frustrations and disappointments with sin?
