I am the first-born. With that, comes some classic first-born tendencies, which, coupled with my personality (which really enjoys organization) can make some chaotic situations quite stress inducing. There are even family nicknames like “Miss-ducks-in-a-row” directed at me.
Last year, in a place of transition, and having a particularly stressful day, I told my mother I wasn’t even sure if there were ducks to PUT in a row. Nothing and no one happened to be cooperating with my will and desires. The last week has felt much like that again.
